Pros: gentle, oil free, cheap, effective, quick, good to my skin and make up.
Make up, I love make up. I love multi colored eyeliners, shimmery eye shadows, thickening mascaras. I wear them mostly every day. And most of this stuff is good, long lasting stuff.
Unfortunately, its got to be removed, to let the skin breathe and have a better, healthier night and life. Very often Im rather lazy at removing my make up at night, so I sleep with it on, and by morning my pillow has gross dark spots all over it.
In the morning when I apply my eyeliner, it sometimes goes where I dont want it to, or it makes too thick of a line, or sometimes it even ends up on strange places, like my forehead or cheeks. Then I move onto my eye shadow, and mascara. Mascara --- when I blink before its dry, it leaves its mark on my eyelid, or under my eyes when I use my new Bad Gal Lash. I now have an easy solution to removing those little marks without ruining everything. I dip a q-tip into my Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover, and glide it across wherever unwanted make up is, and it comes right off.
Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover comes in a blue plastic bottle, holding 3.8 ounces of product. The bottle is round and about 2 inches tall. The lid is bronze colored as most Neutrogena lids are, and it screws on and off. Looking at the bottle you can see the there are two layers of liquid, it looks like oil on top and water on bottom, but this stuff is called OIL-FREE, so it cant be oil. Hmmm .
Directions at the back of the bottle say: SHAKE WELL. Apply with cotton pad on closed eyelids. Gently rinse with warm water.
I use my Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover every morning after I apply my make up. I shake the bottle, shaking is fun I get to see the two ingredients mix together to create a foggy foamy solution. Then I unscrew the lid and dip my q-tip in, but I dont dip the whole cotton part of it just a tiny bit or it else its too wet.
Then I just erase the eyeliner and mascara marks with my magic wand. This doesnt leave my face greasy at all; if I feel like it I can put my eyeliner back on, and it will go on and stay on as usual, it wont slide off. I use the other end of the q-tip to dry off the little wetness it leaves on my face.
This eye make up remover is very quick and easy to use. I sometimes (believe it or not) remove my makeup before going to bed, by wetting a cotton ball and swiping it over my eyelid. One swipe removes EVEYTHING. A second swipe is necessary if I happen to be wearing waterproof mascara. Waterproof mascara comes off. Glitter eye shadow is also removed with ease. This stuff is awesome.
My eyes are never left feeling raw or hurt, infect this stuff contains aloe and cucumber extracts for extra gentleness to the eye area. Also, there is a very mild soapy scent.
