The Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief is oddly similiar to Moisture Surge Extra Thirsty Skin Relief.
I'm not sure if the formulation to the Moisture Surge changed along with the name change, but the product fairs well in providing a good level of moisturization to parched skin.
I have been using my Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief to relieve my dry and itchy skin. The morning chill and the dryness in the air have contributed to the dryness. The Moisture Surge is a light, gel-like product that is light pink in color. The product absorbs quickly and easily into skin. I often feel as though there is a slight layer on my skin even after the moisturizer has been absorbed. That layer eventually disappears.
What I do like is that the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief provides instant relief to dry skin. It banishes away dry skin and leaves my skin feeling well-hydrated. I also like that it is fragrance-free! I try avoiding highly scented moisturizers, especially at night.
I have only used the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief at night since I have a morning moisturizer. I have never tried using the Moisture Surge over makeup and doubt that I will try that route. For me, I'll stick to using it at night for dry skin relief.
Will I purchase it again? I'm not sure. I like how the product hydrates my skin, but I don't like how it leaves an oh-so-slight layer on my skin for a while after application. For now, I'll just enjoy my container of Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief.
